10% Profit Promise
How do you know that the prices you’re being charged are fair? While it’s true that on any individual repair or service, the price can vary from between auto repair companies. At our shops, we moderate our pricing so that we’re not making more than a 10% profit on average. Our goal is that for every dollar we charge you, only 10 cents becomes profit to us. We think that’s fair and that you do too.
NOTE: Occasionally, doubts we’re being accurate in this claim because they can calculate that adding up the cost of the part and what we likely pay a technician doesn’t make it seem like we make only a 10% profit.
But, like any other business – Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, TGI Fridays or anyone else, there are many more expenses than meet the eye. At the upper right of this page is a list of our expenses. We have no other way to pay these except from the prices we charge our customers. It’s AFTER all of these are paid, that we hope to make a 10% profit.
If you ever doubt that we’re making more than a 10% profit, we would be happy to show you our financial records on a confidential basis. You can arrange this by emailing us at info@autoanswers.com.
Why do we need to go to this length to assure our customers that we are being fair in our pricing? Unfortunately, that is the state of the auto repair industry today. Auto repair consumers are often very anxious and uncomfortable. Our job is to relieve this anxiety.
